For those who use more than one Gmail account, here’s how to configure them in your Gmail app.
i. Set up the primary Gmail account
If you’ve sign-in your Google account during the initial setup, then you’re done with configuring the Gmail app for that particular Gmail ID. Simply launch the Gmail app to start reading your emails.
If you’ve not done so, you should see the Add a Google Account screen when you first launch the Gmail app. Here, you can enter your Gmail ID and password, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
ii. Set up a 2nd Gmail account
Follow the steps below to add a 2nd, 3rd or more Gmail accounts in your Gmail app :
- On your phone, find and launch the Settings app.
- Tap + Add account.
- Select Google.
- Tap Existing, and then enter your Email ID and password.
- Follow the rest of the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
- Once that’s done, you can tap the Menu icon
at the top left corner on the Gmail app to switch between multiple accounts.
