Phone call recording feature is built into your Redmi. And, you can record your important conversations either manually or automatically.
i. Recording while you’re on a call. (Manual)
- While you’re speaking on the phone, you can tap
to bring up the call control panel.
- Tap Record to start the recording.

ii. Recording all numbers or specific numbers automatically. (Automatic)

How to copy my phone call record in my pen drive
Ethan says
You can use the built-in Backup feature on your Xiaomi phone to backup the call logs. The backup files are saved in MIUI/backup/AllBackup folder. You can then copy whatever you need to your pen drive either via computer or direct connection with an OTG cable.
Please note that the .bak file isn’t readable.

How to copy my call recording in pen drive

1. If you have an OTG cable, you can connect your Xiaomi phone to your pen drive. Here’s the detailed step-by-step tutorial.
2. Open the Explorer app.
3. Navigate to the /MIUI/sound_recorder/call_rec/ folder, and then select and copy/cut the recording files you want to transfer to your pen drive.
4. Go to your pen/thumb/flash drive which is labelled as USB in Explorer, and then paste the files.

Hi if you cant find recording settings. Click on call button. It should open up all the call history and contacts in the phone. Click on the left button on phone which is Options/List Button (Not Home or Return).
Settings list should pop up
Click on the Voice Recordings and settings and enable it as required.
Done.

Hi frnds, in my phone recording is not working….i have selected a number for automatic recording but its not happening.so please guide me on this.
Ethan says
One reason could be the “mismatch” of the phone number in your Contacts and the incoming phone number displayed on the screen. For example, in my Contacts the number has a + sign and country code, but the incoming phone number on the display doesn’t show this prefix.
Try change the number in your contact to the exact match of what you see in the incoming call screen.
