How to use “OK Google” on Xiaomi phone running MIUI V5 ?

Want to have the weather read to you ? How about calling your friends, searching the web or launching the apps without touching the screen ? Well, you can speak to your Xiaomi device to do things like search, launch apps, get directions, call contacts and send messages.

Here’s how:

1. On your Xiaomi phone, ensure you’ve the latest Google Search installed. Note: The Global version of Xiaomi phone should have Google Search installed by default.
2. Now, you can use either one of the following methods to launch the Google Search app.
   1. Tap the Google Search bar on the primary home screen.
      
   2. Or, tap the Menu button on any home screen, then hit Search.
      
3. Say “Ok Google” or touch the microphone icon.
   
4. Now, you can tell Google what to do. If you’ve no idea on how to give instructions to Google, say “Help”.
