Features highlighted in the launch event
  • Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S20 series which includes the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra with focus on cameras.
  • The Galaxy S20 high resolution camera offers sharper resolution photos that allows you to crop way into them without any loss in detail.
  • If you need to get closer, and want the subject to be the only thing in the frame, you’ll need zoom capability. With the S20’s Space Zoom, you can get up to 30 times closer.
  • With AI, you can use the revolutionary S20’s camera system to the fullest. For example, the Single Take mode lets you take a short clip of up to 10 seconds and get back a variety of formats such as live focus, ultrawide, boomerang video and more. You can then pick your favorites to keep and share with others.
  • The Galaxy S20 also uses AI to keep your photos organized too. It groups your photos automatically, making your gallery easy to navigate. It also lets you create sub-groups so that you can organize your photos however you like.
  • Samsung also brings their 8K video expertise over to mobile. With the S20’s super high resolution camera, you can now capture videos in stunning 8K.
  • With 8K resolution, you can scroll through the footage to find the perfect moment, and then capture a 33-megapixel still photo of that moment with just a single tap.
  • For pro-grade film maker, the Pro mode allows you to adjust aperture, exposure, and settings that you’d have control over with a DSLR.
  • Samsung has enhanced the Super Steady mode too to let you take shaper videos on the go thanks to the AI motion analysis and the anti-rolling stabilizer.
  • The Galaxy S20 comes with an incredible storage capacity of up to 1.5TB (when you’re using the phone with a one terabyte microSD card) to offer plenty of room for your favorite photos and videos.
  • And, sharing those photos and videos is easier than ever before. With the S20, you can share files with up to 5 friends at the same time without having to pair your devices.
  • All the incredible features above, are available on all three models of the Galaxy S20 series. And, for the people who want more or the professional photographers who need the best of the best, Samsung has the Galaxy S20 Ultra for them.
  • The S20 Ultra has the largest and most powerful image sensor Samsung has ever put on a smartphone.
  • The phone has an unbelievable 108MP AI camera, so that you can capture very detailed photos that you can zoom in and crop without losing the clarity.
  • All three models of the Galaxy S20 take amazing low-light photos. But the S20 Ultra takes it even further with the nonabinning technology which combines nine pixels into one at the sensor level using AI to allow more light in every image.
  • When it comes to zooming in, the S20 Ultra comes with a cutting-edge zoom function with a folded lens that allows for up to 10x hybrid zoom and 100x digital zoom. (Yes, you didn’t read that wrongly, it’s 100 times.)
  • For better video calling experience, Google Duo has been natively integrated right into your S20’s contact, phone and messages. Furthermore, this integration also brings in some new features such as full HD video calls over 5G and chatting in landscape mode using the wide-angle camera to get more people in the shot.
  • The Galaxy S20 will be one of the first Android devices to support Live Caption. With that, people with hearing loss can consume great content in real time too.
  • For gamers, you’ll be glad to know that the display on all three S20 models have a 120Hz refresh rate for incredibly smooth gameplay, and doubled touch response rate for gaming with less touch lag.
  • The smooth gaming performance also thanks to the powerful Snapdragon 865 processor and high amount of Samsung’s latest LPDDR5 RAM (of up to 16GB) under the hood.
  • All three models of the Galaxy S20 will be available starting from March 6 at a price starting from $999.
