There are the 2 ways to take a screenshot on your Redmi :
Press the Power button and Volume down button
Press the Power button and Home button simultaneously for about 1 second. If your phone is not on silent or vibration mode, you should hear the shutter sound.
The generated .PNG image file will be saved in the Phone storage/DCIM/Screenshots folder. Note: If you’re using an SD Card on your Redmi, the image will be saved in the SD card/DCIM/Screenshots folder instead.
Use the Screenshot shortcut
Slide down the notification panel from the top of the screen, and tap the Screenshot shortcut.
The generated .PNG image file will be saved in the Phone storage/DCIM/Screenshots folder. Note: If you’re using an SD Card on your Redmi, the image will be saved in the SD card/DCIM/Screenshots folder instead.
Note: Screen capture won’t work when you’ve your Redmi connected to the PC as USB storage.
Note: The steps here were written for Android 4.2.2 on a Redmi (HM1W). If you’re having a different model of Redmi or other version of Android, there’s a possibility that the steps and screenshots will be different.
