Yes, you can play Fortnite on the Galaxy A53 5G. You can download Epic Games from the Galaxy store and then use it to download Fortnite. (You can no longer download Fortnite directly from both the Play and Galaxy stores)

The highest settings you can set on this phone are medium graphics at 30fps. 

I played this game on my A53 for as long as an hour; there were some brief stutters but no overheating issue.

The highest temperature taken was around 41.3 degrees Celsius, and the battery usage was 11% after one hour of playing.

The Super AMOLED display and stereo speakers are nice to have when gaming. 

So, in conclusion,  Fortnite is playable on this phone, but don’t expect smoothness all the way.
