How do I disable rotating lock screen wallpapers on Honor 8?

That’s the magazine style wallpaper which shows you a different wallpaper every time you turn on your phone display.

To stop the wallpaper rotation, you can do one of the following:

i. Stop the wallpaper rotation
1. On the lock screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen. Tap the Pause button to stop the rotation. Tip: You might want to stop at the wallpaper you like.

ii. Change to a different lock screen style
1. Open the Settings app, tap Screen lock style.
2. Select Android N.

iii. Use the same wallpaper as the Home screen wallpaper.
1. Open the Settings app, tap Display > Wallpaper > Lock screen wallpaper.
2. Select Use home screen wallpaper.

Any tips on how to remove the lock screen altogether? I want the phone to go directly to the home screen.

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap About phone.
3. Tap on the Build number for 7 times.
4. You should now see the Developer options in the Settings menu.
5. Tap Developer options, and turn off the Screen lock switch.
