Method 1

1. Open the Power Off menu as usual, and long tap the Power Off button.
   
2. Next, tap the Safe mode button, and the phone will reboot itself to Safe Mode.
   
3. The phone is in Safe Mode when you see the Safe mode label on the lower left cover of the screen.
   
4. To exit, open the notification panel and tap "Tap here to turn off Safe mode," or restart the phone.
   

Method 2

1. Power off the phone.
2. Power on the phone. When you see the Samsung logo, press and hold the Volume down button until the lock screen.
3. The phone is in Safe Mode when you see the Safe mode label on the lower left cover of the screen.
4. Simply restart the phone to exit Safe Mode.
