How to disable the buttons on the left side of my Galaxy Note 4 screen?

Out of the sudden, my Note 4 shows a few buttons (Recent, Home and Back) on the left side of the screen. How do I remove or disable these buttons?

It seems like you’ve enabled the Side key panel feature by accident. Here’s how to turn it off.

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen using 2 fingers.
2. Tap the Side key panel toggle to turn it off.

1. From your phone’s Settings, tap Display and wallpaper > One-handed operation > Side key panel.
2. Slide the Side key panel switch to the off position.
