How to solve “Can’t download this picture because it hasn’t been synced with your cloud” error on my Xiaomi phone?

“Can’t download this picture because it hasn’t been synced with your cloud” while I’m downloading pics to normal storage this is what it’s showing. How can I get my pictures back?

I’m not too sure which model of Xiaomi phone and version of the firmware you’re having. I saw similar error reported as a bug in the Chinese MIUI forum. Try update your phone’s firmware to the latest version, and hopefully that helps.
You can also sign in to Mi Cloud to check if those photos are around. If yes, you can download them from Mi Cloud to your PC.
