How to zip and unzip files on the Samsung Galaxy phone?

To zip and unzip a file (or files) on the Samsung Galaxy phone, follow these steps:

i. To zip files

1. Open My Files, select the files you want to zip, and tap More > Compress.
   
2. Enter an appropriate filename, choose between Zip or 7-zip format, check the Protect with password option if necessary, and tap Compress.
   

ii. To unzip a file

1. Open My Files, select the compressed file you want to unzip, and tap More > Extract / Extract to the current folder.
   

You can uncompress the files with the following extensions .zip, .rar and .7z
