Will the alarm sound in vibrate mode on my Galaxy S7?
♥ 0 | I’m using Galaxy S7 Edge. If i put the phone on vibrate, will the alarm still sound? Hopefully, I’m not being too silly to ask this simple question. Locked Marked as spam |

Private answer Put your phone in vibrate mode, and set an alarm for 2 minutes away then watch and listen. Marked as spam
Private answer Putting your Galaxy S7 Edge in vibrate or silent mode doesn’t stop the alarm from sounding. Therefore, you can safely put your phone on vibrate and doze off. Marked as spam
Private answer Honestly, this is a huge problem, the Samsung galaxy phones used to allow the user to determine whether or not the alarm would make audible sound (as opposed to just flashing on screen), now that option is removed, so those of us who want to see but not hear alarms (during office meetings for example) are left without this option. Please bring it back, you can always designate alarms an exception to Do Not Disturb! Marked as spam
Private answer I tried putting phone on vibrate and the alarm still sounds (loudly). So now I can go to sleep and not be woken up by incoming posts etc. from other time zones. Thanks to Ethan for suggesting that. Marked as spam
Private answer Turn off the vibration on alarm settings (have to do it with every particular alarm that’s set) and it’ll ring even when the phone’s on complete silent! Marked as spam
